I have just purchased some new 16" alloys for my skoda fabia elegance 1.9tdi 2001 model. I know it is a 5 stud fitment but when i came to fit them the bolt holes did not line up. The wheels are from a Honda civic, 16x6-1/2J 45. Can anyone tell me what i need to do to get these to fit or is it a no go? Also can anyone explain what the code means please? I Know the 16" means the diameter, but what do the other ones mean? Thanks.

Hi and welcome.

6-1/2J is the width..not sure about the 45. I got to say I doubt these will fit..it's not just that is has a 5 stud pattern but the value from the centre of the wheel to the bolt holes have to match that of your Fabia.

Not sure what that value is...I'm sure a Furby owner will have the info.

Its a no-go unfortunately. :(

The honda wheels are 5 x 114.3, and the VAG pattern which Skoda's have is 5*100 which is a wee bit smaller in size I think.

They're never gonna go on, sadly (unless honda civic hubs fit )

got toyo proxes fitted on the civic alloys which i would take off to fit new 16" alloy wheels that would fit my car!! nice try though. if you know anybody with some alloys let us know would be interested at the right price

If you're lucky there might be someone looking to move on their 16" vRS alloys... But more recently I've not seen any appear on here - A while ago, there were complete sets of vRS alloys being traded all the time. :confused:
