Thank you! The car is everything I had hoped for and so much more already! Just wish my dealer experience had been better :'( Off to spend the afternoon in the car with the manual :giggle:

By the way, dealer Yeti in the showroom was plastered in stickers of Clarkson's mug and all the quotes from Top Gear last weekend. It was certainly attracting attention!

You know, it amazes me, considering the amounts of money involved, how bad some car dealers are at 'customer awareness'. If they don't realise their arrogance and inefficiencies simply mean they have lost a future customer, they must be extremely thick. It's not always possible to make appointments, bang on, - but in that case it is up to them to do whatever needs to be done to make you feel good about your experience, regardless. This they obviously did not do. All my business life, most of my business has come either from happy existing customers, or recommendations. Just look at Allams, and how the trouble James goes to is valued so highly by everyone. Dealers like yours don't live in the real world and deserve to fail miserably, IMO. Tell the MD or owner about your experience...

Got every intention of complaining to the MD, Skoda UK and putting something in the dealer section of this forum ( but will give them a chance to explain themselves before I post any more detail on here).

Good job the Yeti is sooooooo good that I'm still one very happy bunny!

Didn't you get the 'Happy Customer' postcard to fill in? You can put your comments in this. Alternatively you may do this on-line (sorry but can't remember the actual web address for this).

Clearly disappointing that you had to wait an hour or more to collect your Yeti (inexcusable really) but didn't you get delivery about 3 months sooner than you had at one time being expecting? If so, a small price to pay. ;)

I am indeed very pleased that it arrived three months early and am still grinning like a Cheshire Cat. Took it out last night and was bowled over by the Xenon lamps and the sound from the Bolero with speaker upgrade is fantastic. I feel a desire to tweak coming on though ...... LED bootlight first on the list!

Thank you! It's a 1.8K Roadsport SV (Fatboy version!), 15" wheels and Supersport engine. Tatty - as it's an ex sprint car, but still makes me smile! Used for touring now with the Lotus 7 club. With a Yeti too I guess I'm gonna be smiling a lot in future!
