Vrs losing Power fronm Idle

Featured Replies

Hi,

My brand new Fabia Vrs 10 plate has developed a fault and was wondering ifany one else has had the same problem. when at idle ie traffic lights or waiting at a roundabout when i go to move off no power nothing at all and about 5 sec later i do and can move off the dealer has had my car back for over 1 week but still no further forward. One other fault that appeared at the same time was the tire pressure warning but i checked tyres every day and pressure was always correct any had the same problem?

Do you have the same problem with the gearbox in s mode? As this rises the idle speed and helps you pull away quicker.

To be truthful I have not tried took it straight back to dealer to sort out

I had a test drive yesterday in a VRS and had exactly the same problem in their road test car.

keep us posted on this. What were the engine resv doing when this happened. if they were stable then it might have been the DSG causing the issue

itwas jumping up and down not by a lot like i had my foot on the pedal. It felt like it was coughing is the best word to describe it . Just been told today the dealer has had info from skoda but whatever they were told to do has made it worse so still in a hire car until further notice as soon as I get any further info will let you all know
