Nothing as far as I know. You just slide it back into it's cradle and plug the two big connectors back on (with the slide locks).

I've disconnected my ECU before, to check some wires, but never had any problems doing it.

What have you had done to the ECU?

I had it mapped by more-bhp i have spoken to them and say its the first time this has ever happend and have asked me to send it back im just trying to work out if its somthing i have done.

Do i need to disconect the battery? The guy on the phone said check the imobiliser fuse?? Any one know where that is?

Don't worry, it'll probably be something they've done...

OOF nothing like kicking a man when he's down :giggle:

I suppose there is also the chance of getting ecu's mixed up when they are being posted out so you may have some else's so the immob wont match.

check all the fuses first tho

If it was just the immo, then the car would start but die after 2 seconds. All the dash lights would be normal. Try checking the fuses
