Hi all, a quick question;

in my car the light buzzer for if you leave them on etc, is a harsh, constant noise, like my old Fabia. However, every other Polo I remember has a soft, gentle bonging noise (about

in) like that one.

Now, is there a setting in VCDS to change this, or anything? Cos I'm stumped as too why mine is different, unless it's had a cluster change?

Maybe it changed through the years? My 2007 Fabia does the bongs?

No, don't think so. I looked at a couple the same age, and they bonged, as does the youtube one - which is the same spec and everything.

It's just I get a monotonous beeeeeeeeeeeping noise, and it sounds. . . cheap, really. Even Corsas make a better noise! (What a thing to get a hang up about 'ey?!)

MIne has stopped bonging (2003 Octavia). Any idea how to turn it back on??

Do the interior lights etc still work? Could be the door open sensor has failed?

My '07 Octavia has not done anything since I've had it!

Found out that is because the microswitch in the door latch (the door open sensor) is broken!
