Got unofficial word from our man at our dealers that SWMBO's SM is provisionally due for build in Week 22 (23rd May).

If this turns out to be the case, I guess it could be the first of many 2012 cars - is this or (compared to a 2011 build) ? I looked through the 2012 Build thread, which seems to have a list of wishes, but is there a list of probable changes ? Spec as per signature below....

This prompted me to contact my dealer as my order is near identical spec to yours and ordered at the same time. They told me mine was week 21 build. They gave me my 8 digit SLI order number so that could make future checks myself. Tried it on the trackmyskoda site but it was not recognised. Anyone else had any luck using that facility ?

I've just tried that site to see where my SM is (supposedly on its way from factory to Emden) but the order number I was given some months ago by SUK does not work either!

I'd never heard of this tracking site before you mentioned it - another aspect of customer service that doesn't seem to work quite the way it should!

Having tried to register on the site, I have now had a message back saying that it only works for customers of two garages in Sheffield and Mansfield!! WHY???

It's to do with fleet supply rather than retail so your order number wouldn't be useable by this system anyway as your order will be tagged as retail.

just been told my 110 4x4 has build week 11 ordered on 22/12/10 (sorry Tim don't know why it is 4 weeks before yours) had no luck getting the 1.8tsi out of skoda. but if my build week slips to much i may have the order changed and pay the extra for the 1.8.

wish i had my camera in the showroom they have a candy white 170 with a 5 foot remote control helicopter on the roof looks good on a velux roof

If that is the case then it should be stated as such on that site. Would stop a lot of people wasting their time.

It certainly would. And anyway, if it can work for fleet sales, why can't it look after the poor bloody infantry, aka private buyers, as well?

hopefully they won't push her back as they have done with mine. Middle of March build, so if all goes well I might be seeing pictures of yours befor mine even runs down the production line. As aluded to in another post, I think I'm going for a potential record for delivery of a 110 4x4 without velux roof. If the maths correct I reckon 6months and a week from order to collection :wonder:

thats a long wait for one without a velux roof. hope they manage to bring it forward for you it can keep mine company on the production line and all the way to the docks (and to the same port knowing my luck) sorry sir your yeti is in grimsby not sheerness

also Sheerness for me; she has to go south to visit James for some paperwork a PDI and converting me to a church mouse before coming home to the East Riding
