what is best option dsg ? 1.2 or 2.0 ?

Featured Replies

Joined forum as going to replace my trusty Mondeo with a "Crossover" this spring/early summer. After 10 years of driving diesel saloons of Mondeo size, narrowed it down to Skoda Yeti, Mitsubishi ASX or Nissan Qashqai.

I do motorway and commuting between Epsom and Crawley and it isn't much fun, so which is better for a 12K a year motorist ?? 1.2 DSG or 140 Diesel DSG ??? or just go for a manual car, probably a 1.4 petrol ????????

Very confused..........

I'm not the gratest conoseur, but 12K a yer seems quite abit to me. I were you:

1)Wouldn't choose the ASX for beeing to small, specially the boot, plus it has kind of a girlish look

2)Wouldn't go for the Qashqai because it's to expensive for what it is (At least here)

3)Wouldn't go for manual because of the distances.

So If I were you would go for a Yeti, 2.0 TDI DSG... astonishing car..... drool.gif

Drove all the models concerned and Yeti was the best built, nicest to drive and the most expensive......now looking at the 140 DSG diesel. Will be broke forever, but was impressed with the 1.2 DSG which I drove with Linda at Allams Epsom.
