Cheers fabdaverav , sill trying to solve this problem ? Think i will buy new hub wheel bearing , this seems to be the abs ring The back of the bearing , confused cleaned it and the pulsating on the brake pedal seems loads better , but not fixed lites sill on and pulsateing a little , i must be getting warm

Hi Square, I did manage too solve the problem with a new hub/bearing/reluctor ring unit, on both front wheels!! the previous set having lasted only 18months!!! :wall: The trouble is that I did a lot of checking myself and found nothing, then I sent the ABS unit of to be tested (all ok). Then i took the car to a local garage with specalist diagnostic equipment and he charge me £450 :swear: quid for looking at it (4hrs work and writing a report and not coming to a conclusion!!) Ended up later on going back to the Skoda dealer who spent a further 1hr and said that there is just a slight "missing or skipping" of the signal eg the reluctor ring has a "dead spot". Replaced the bearing units, and hey presto no more problems!! So if anyone checks all the usuall stuff and draws a blank it's probably much cheaper to just replace the bearing units, wish I had, would have saved enough to buy a set of wheels!!! :@
