Welcome to Briskoda

Pro's: Vag, Fast, Reliable, Cheap insurance: £1080 at 19 with 6 points. look good the list goes on. oh and the supprise eliment of a diesel skoda...

Cons: be ware of the rubber seal around the back doors, they may leak, Some electrical faults. Im sure if you peak in the skoda fabia 1 section youll see..

My Fabia 2 is now much loved but was jinxed when first got it. Parents also had problems with seals as above. No problems with mine yet.

I will have another Skoda next time. Insurance cheaper on Skoda than Corsa, but been driving 30 years

Welcome

Front lower rear suspension rubber bushes prone to wear, a DIY job if competent enough.

Rear wiper wash tends to freeze-up in icy cold weather.

Cambelt/water-pump renewal on/after 4/5 years period (or 50/60,000 miles).

Servicing can be DIY with a couple of special tools purchased,

including (rear brake-piston) wind-back tool.

Reliable car if looked after (as with most) , fairly quick acceleration, 45mpg all types of driving.

Good luck with car hunting.

Check with your insurance if buying one that has been chipped/modified.emoticon-0148-yes.gif
