Tracked down the annoying intermittent dash vibration to the drivers side air vent assy(nearest the door) If you apply some pressure the noise disappears!

The vent is secure in its housing,any suggestions/how do you remove it to check?

Also the parcel shelf is vibrating and all is secure there too!!!

I've got a similar rattle on the drivers side (the last one had it too!)

I have a feeling it's related to the vag-com socket which is hidden up there above the cubby hole. Certainly applying upwards pressure to the cubby or pressing on the panel around the light control also stops the rattle.

Maybe the techs will know - can the socket become loose on the bracket or does it just hang loose?
