Camber Kits

Featured Replies

Gone through my front T1-R's in under 2,000 miles, Ali at Unit 18 done a 4 wheel alignment and tracking but said it's because it's too low. I've heard you can get adjustment kits to fix this? Anyone know any more about it?

Think you can only get camber kits for the back wheels. Not heard of anything for the fronts. It's usually done through adjustable top mounts if possible and i've got in my head that there's a reason why they haven't been made for the Fabia but can't remember the reason!

Nothing available for camber adjustment as of yet, wish KW would make some lol

Dude you get my PM?

Not had any problems with tyres and mine being as low as yours.

Have seen on eBay before camber adjusting wishbones which just looked like drilled out slots to slide it in and out

At work we have a coilover kit with camber adjustment on the tops

Is that the top priced KW 3 kit? If it is I'd hope it came with camber adjustment at ~£1200.

I think I've seen camber adjusting top mounts for a 6N Polo, do these fit Fabias?

No its the fabia D2 kit

well theres a few issue's there really...

toyo's dont last long

you must drive too hard

and tires shouldn't wear on either edge quicker, my fabia was slammed into the deck and it wore evenly

Ive got this problem too! was going to buy the lower wishbones to see if it sorts the problem? .I know of a few people who run theres low and have no inside wear problems, could it be because ive taken my helper springs out on the front?

There has to be an answer as i realy dont wana keep buying tyres lol

I'm in the same boat mate.

Ali at Unit 18 has double checked my car and it's all aligned and tracked properly. He said the Fabia estate does the same thing.

It gets driven hard yeah but still shouldn't wear unevenly. The outside of the tyre looks brand new compared to the inside.

Yeah my estate did it, even the Mpi does it to some extent despite being bob on alignment wise but due to running low it's about a degree and a half neg on each side which is not good for the tyres when cornering lots or hard.

I've heard lots of things about the Cupra wishbones being shorter which could correct it, never actually compared two to see if it's true or not.

Yeah i first thought it was tracking but theres no chance its deffo camber so think lower wishbones have to be a go : ( just hope they do work .

They'll be wearing due to the amount of camber you'll have from being low.

Do you have a print-out from when the alignment was done?

There's two ways of adjusting the camber on a fabia.. Moving the balljoint inwards to lessen camber, but this means buying/making some adjustable lower arms.

Or file the top mount holes on the shock tower to bring the top of the strut out to cancel the camber. Then weld a washer to the shock tower to stop the bolts from moving.

Also, T1R's are very soft.. so wear quickly if the tracking/camber isn't 100%

I had Ali check and they're the same part number so gotta be the same length. :(
