I was driving to work the other day in the cold weather we have been getting and noticed that when i put my foot on the brake to slow to a stop and release the pedal, the car is making a creaking sound. - its getting worse the more i use it and noticed it is doing it now when you change down gears and let off the clutch...

I know it is probably a bush or similar - Has anyone had the same problem and how much did it cost to fix?

i'll be changing the standard bushes for the cuppra ones soon, is the cupra engine mount any better?

Sounds like the arb bushes to me.

Lovely! The car has just cost me £400! - How much do you reckon it'll cost to fix?, Its going in for service next month, it never rains but it pours!

Well if your fitting Cupra bushes just do them at the same time, not expensive.
