I like the yellow!

One of the few times I've liked black on black - purely due to the yellow.

How much were they?

25plus vat an postage

If you're suffering the same noise I am I don't think the shortened drop links will make any difference I'm afraid. The top of the link hits the arch liner on full lock if you hit any small bumps and makes a graunching noise. Shorter links won't stop this from happening.

yeah thats the noise oh well, i dont often go near full lock, these wont hurt by any means,

love the wheels with the yellow, i'm a big fan.

what size are the wheels?

Look like 15's!

Yup! It's in his sig' they're 15's

Do the yellow brakes mean that the Cupra Rs will be repainted??? - asbo orange and yellow surely won't work

Have you considered ordering the kw tubing to reduce the knocking noise? - I've got it fitted on my weitecs and there's no noise at all...

well orange and green didnt really go either lol, shall have to see, the calipers will prob need another coat soon anyway if i decide to go for another colour.

Whats this about the tubing, i thought that was to cure a slight rattling/knocking noise when driving, i dont get that just on full lock as if its hitting something, as said above could well be the drop link touching the arch liner

Hopefully changing the drop links will solve the noise then.

Before my last service, I used to get a knocking noise on full left lock (only) - turned out that the n/s drop link was bent slightly, and once changed, the noise vanished.

Is there any evidence (scratches, dirt removal etc) that the link is hitting the liner?

didnt seem to be hitting but was mighty close when i did lock to lock with the wheels removed, as for marking the liner i sprayed up the drop links with wd the night before so with that everywhere couldnt really tell,

I like those wheels :p what size tyres, 50's or 55's?

195/50s there 7inch wide too :o, just trying to source some centre caps

What do shorter drop links achieve? Is there any benefit to them?

for extra clearance on the arb from hitting the driveshaft, only really happens on extremely lowered cars, but mine needed changing anyway so it didnt hurt
