Hi guys.....

Just fitted a Sony aftermarket HU. Seems that everytime the faceplate is left overnight the car won't start until it has been removed for 2 minutes the nextday.....

So is it good practice to remove it? I have turned the HU off completely on the face once before and it seemed fine the next day.....

This seems standard on many new headunits.

On my pioneer, the bluetooth stays on, and connected to my phone for about a 15m radius

If I don't remove faceplate, batt. dead in 2 days...

Have you swapped over the permanent 12v and the ignition 12v so that it's in the ISO configuration?
