Hello everyone

My husband bought me (well traded in my motorbike :S for) a Fabia VRS in black on a '54 plate.

We have had it just over a week and love it

Wanted something a little more dog-friendly, fuel-friendly, purse-friendly than a 3 litre BMW; whilst being a good car and fun to drive. His research led us to the Fabia, I will admit I was a little sceptical at first, but only good things to say so far (apart from maybe the difficulty in keeping the pale grey seats pale!).

It has been fully puppy proofed now so we can take the pooch out whatever the weather. I even spent yesterday afternoon claying the boot and rear bumper!? Hubby had already done the rest

The car is standard at the moment but over the course of time might be having a few enhancing extras/modifications

Looking forward to fun in the Skoda and nice to meet you all.

Hi guys, I'm at desperation stage here. Changed bearings on the car. Ball joints also changed. The threads on my TREs were goosed from getting the busy off, so I bought new ones to replace them. My issue is the jam nuts. I have watched/read pretty much everything that's out there, yet these things won't budge. Tried heat, spray etc. Is it definitely clockwise for both to loosen them off you are looking at the hub from the outside of the wheel arch? Lefty loosey when looking from the insid

Hi new to the site I have just purchased a 2008 superb Laurin and klement edition in dark blue with cream leather 118000 with original wheels athou the wheels need full refurb i think they are diamond cut but maybe someone could correct me could anyone tell me how many were produced in mk1s and are they a rare car I would have preferred the 1.9 as apose to the 2.0 litre but it drives just a good and coud not find this edition in a 1.9 but I don't think they did a laurin klement in a 1.9 tdi but

Generally, i dont like to be one of those people to open up another topic that has been exhausted time and time again, but after extensive research, i really am struggling to find a forum response that matches fully with my issue.
