VCDS check

Featured Replies

Anyone in South Lincs, Holbeach, Spalding, Boston, Kings Lynn area got a Full version of VCDS who could scan my car? I only have the freeware version which doesnt work on my Mk2 Octavia.

I have a feeling I have bought a car that has been clocked (noisy gearbox at 20,000 miles). If someone out there could interogate the ECU for me and tell me what the true mileage really is that would be great ;)

My local garage only have a fault code reader and not VCDS so they cant help.

Dont fancy going to Skoda as I didnt buy the car from a main dealer and dont use them for servicing either.

I bought the car from an Evans Halshaw car supermarket who MOTed it before it was 3 years old and I just have a feeling its been got at.

Have already contacted previous owner who said mileage IS correct but I am not convinced.

I'm in Thetford if that's any good. I could probably meet you in Kings Lynn.

I could probably arrange something, I have family in Attleborough and Norwich so I do get to Norfolk a bit.
