what should ask them to pre set on the car ie maxi dot wise single door unlocking etc or is there a list on here somewere i can give them thanks

Cornering Fog Lights is one thing loads of folks mention. Setting both rear fog lights to come on is another.

If your car has maxidot then you can set up the single door unlocking and the auto lock/unlock your self. If you don't have auto lights then I'd think about seeing if they will have the coming home/leaving home lights set up.

As you have auto lights the sensor in the rear view mirror mount will know when it is getting dark so that when it is dark enough and you press the remote to unlock the car the headlights will come on. When you get home leave the lights turned on, get out and lock the car and the headlights will stay on and turn off after a predetermined time. You can set the times individually in the maxidot.

The automatic is also called tunnel lights as if you have the switch set to the tunnel or auto position, when the ambient light drops i.e. at dusk or going through a tunnel the lights will come on automatically and then turn off when the light level increases again i.e. coming out of the tunnel.

sorry anything else am picking it up in the morning :)

Get them to turn the seatbelt chime off, incredibly annoying and patronising it is.

Get the alarm chirp activated too if you want it to make a noise when you lock/unlock.

I thought the chime was not allowed in UK anymore something to do with the hours of darkness thing even all motorbikes alarms no longer have that for last year or 2. Not that anyone would do anything about it.

Enjoy your new car. You'll be smiling all week! And probably everytime you drive it. Post a snap when you come back down to earth! :)
