Yeh thats true. Dont get me wrong, its a decent car and very nimble as you say but im only getting 210 miles out of a full tank lol. I never even drive it hard well almost never lol. How many miles do you get out of the fabia Matt?

I used to start looking seriously for a petrol station at 220 miles in my old Fiesta Zetec S. For the vRS, I filled up early last week - 425 miles before the low fuel warning came on And its economy is not the best at this time of year......

Thanks guys. That is exactly how i would describe the ST Matt. Deffo needs a 6th gear, it can get very noisy. I always feel like im in a hurry when driving it aswell. Do you guys do short journeys? The one thing im worried about is the fact that my work is only 5 mins away and my girlfriend lives in the same town. So the only long journeys im doing is at the weekend. I will be getting a new job soon tho so will hopefully have a little bit further to travel. Many thanks

When my fabia was mapped, i`d say the ST was pretty much neck and neck with the fabia. Although i was only running a sensible map.

As for distance, i work about 15min from home, but i try and go a long way home if i`m not in a hurry to give a little more of a run. But its not a problem, as long as your not ragging it cold and give it a run once a week it`ll be fine.

Cant wait lol. The ST is a drain on my finances lol. What type of map would you recommend? I was thinking of a superchips to get it to 170 bhp.

I cant recommend Unit 18 mapping enough custom map, £250, can be tailored to how you wanted it, well worth the trip, have a look in their section for happy happy customers lol

Mine has a Shark remap. Got it last year on a special deal - £250 including the STS unit. I've only had the map in place for a few weeks - had to wait for my insurance to run out, since the old firm wouldn't look at modified vehicles. Was quite difficult being patient about it.

I'm very happy with the Shark remap. Its smooth, much less lumpy than the car was originally, and has helped the ecomony ( well, until I start overtaking everything in sight - that tends to drop it a bit....).

Browns can also do remaps, not sure what they're charging at the moment though.

Lol sounds good Paul! Yeh thats how I would like to get mine. What bhp are you guys running? The superchips is 170bhp. But thats just a standard non custom map. I spose i should tell my insurance company about the map. Seems a shame tho as i bet it bumps the insurance up a lot lol :(

I was gunna ask about that too len. How much would it be to get full leather? I like the standard seats but nothing beats a touch of classy leather lol
