Do you think a W8 engine would fit a superb keeping the front wheel drive gearbox?.

Yeah its 4wd. I was thinking of saving cutting up the floor pan to the fit the rear diff. Plus with keeping it front wheel drive you dont lose so much power throught the drive train, Its not exactly a hooligan car so it dosnt matter about the wheelspin. Just want the sound and to worry some Mercs and Bmrs on the motorway. lol

LOL, Did think of superb front end conversion, would be easier and cheaper but where's the fun in that. Just looking at the brakes at the moment. Don't know to go with either S6 calipers or the original W8 calipers about the same price but need to try find the diffrent spec's on them. Any details would help...

Sounds like a money pit to me, but have a go.......

With the price of fuel these days maybe the W8 would be cheaper to purchase and then stick the badges on....sounds like a lot of hard work doing a conversion. when the original car is already kitted out, and all you need is a few badges and away you go. Paint it red and call it christine :giggle:
