Anyone know if the new octy estate has a lighter socket in the boot like audi & passat estates.

I had one in the last car it was very handing for charging things like the kids game boys etc when on holiday

Don't know about the estate but in the Mk2 the lighter socket is live when the igintiion is off so it could be used. Just hide the gameboy under the seat.

This may be a plus for you but I now have to unlplug the mobile phone charger rather than have it turn off with the igintion. A small price to pay for all the other benfits of the Mk2.
