Indicator lense in door mirror

Featured Replies

Hi, has anyone had to replace one of these yet, I have just found what looks like a stone impact on my nearside lense, it has damaged it enough to let in moisture. I have dried it out with a hair drier and siliconed the hole shut. If a new one is not that expensive I'll get it sorted at the first service. I do think however, to get to the lense you have to break the mirror, with auto dimming I can see the bill rising stupidly.

Easy DIY, the mirror just pulls out.

Angle it as far down as it will go, this then means you can get your fingers behind the upper edge and gently tease it off its clips.

Once off you will see that the sealed LED repeater is simply held in with a couple of Torx screws.

Disconnect the electrical supply and out it comes.

Can't see the replacement lense been too expensive...
