Hi fella`s i pick up my Fabia vrs on an 06, half way home i started getting a judering under heavy exceleration on inspection the bolt that holds the gear box mounting to the body ( the bolt that goes through the bracket ) was missing i can only guess that it wasnt tightened up properly.

Can anyone please tell me what size bolt and what type is surposed to be in there ? I will order the right part from Skoda but im going to have to put something in there to get me by till i get the part as my local skoda garage is a long way away.

Any help would be great.

As far as i can see theres only one, the bracket is still bolted to the side of the car and the mounting is still on the gear box. To me the mounting looks like it slips between the two prongs on the bracket and a bolt should go straight through the bolt that goes through is the one im missing.

I would take a pic but ive been travelling sice 4am this morning and i posted this as soon as i got in and just havent got the energy.

Is OZZ referring to the Dogbone mounting (viewed from underside of car) if so is it the front or back bolt, or is it the Gearbox/Engine mount under the battery ?
