Featured Replies

My boost pipe popped off last night and I'm just after a temporary fix to hold it on until I can get to halfrauds or somewhere for a new o ring etc. What else is needed to replace?

Linking to the bottom of the intercooler.

Which 1 is it? If it connects to intercooler then all you need is 4 self tappers and your sorted

Have the clips on the side sheared off then?

The overlap where one connects over the top of the other

Nah im talking about the two common failures... The ones that connect to the intercooler

Which one is blown this may help?

If it connects into intercooler all you need is 4 self tappers (big ones) maybe 10's and place them 90 degrees apart round the collar and through into the inercooler connector!

Fixed for free as this will never pop off again!

Yeh the one that connects to the main smic bit.

So just throu the plastic intercooler bend into the hole of the intercooler?

I seem to have a good connection now.

yeah the collar! you can put a bit of silicone or sealant on the self tappers so you don't get any leaks, but mines was fine without for 40k! ran 173bhp on a remap too so wasn't leaking
