And the Fabia lives on...

Featured Replies

Well got the Fabia back today after a bit of work and another MOT...

10years and 122,000 miles and it's finally failed on something serious - a broken front spring and a seized rear caliper with an advisory on the rear exhaust box (it's the original exhaust and I've had the same advisory for the last few years!).

However, it's all repaired fine (no more banging over potholes and less wayward under acceleration) and it's also been serviced (still drives well) and the rest of the car is still good (despite a broken passenger window mechanism - £4 part sat waiting to be fitted).

I certainly wouldn't get anything near as good for the £760 parkers reckon its worth!

Good to hear it's still going strong, mine's getting closer to 140,000miles (currently on 137,000) and it's 8.5yrs old

Great to know I've got a lot of miles left in mine only at 40k at the moment
