will 8x17 et30 fit a fabia vrs

Featured Replies

i've been looking in to getting some new wheels for my fabia and have fell in love with the rotiform nue wheels but have no idea if these will fit the fabia. there 8x17" and have a et30 which i think is alot for the fabia considering the fabia is et38.

currently on standard suspension but will be changing to coilover setup soon.

et30 should look awesome on a 8J wheel

thanks so you think they'd fit then? what tyre size for these?

have asked g-werks and awesome-gti but had no reply back

yeah they will fit no problem whatsover....

as long as stud pattern is 5x100 and the centre bore matches....

i'd run either 205/40/17 or 215/40/17... will give a nice stretched look

yeah they are 5x100 thanks

On coulovers if you go real low

There is a bit off a problem make sure you fold that lip of the arch in maybe roll the front arch a bit

I have et 33 that was a problem 205/40 tire Don’t go for 215

Your right that’s dangerous and 195/40 ?

I ran 9 inch porsche twists on the rear at et 25 with 205/40/17's on coilovers and had no rubbing issues

Granted that was on decent kw coilovers and a sensible drop

I cant see any issues at 8 inch with et30 and 205/40/17 tires tbh

heres mine as low as it would go on the back (adjusters out)

bearing in mind i was at et25... 5mm closer to the arch than your going to be

and i had 9 inch wheels wearing 205/40/17 rubber

and i cant recall it rubbing?

The front ones give problems not on the rear

Ok these are et 33 205-40 and whit the lip not folded they destroy my tires

Now still some rubbing on the arch liner noting to bad

if you raised it 10mm you'd still retain 90% looks but the car will be far more drivable and won't destroy tires....

tbh you can't have eveything, wide wheels and low stance, something has got to give...

push came to shove rolling the front arches wont be the end of the world

but i think a sensible height would got a long way...

on the front with the porsche twists i ran 205/40/17 7.5J at ET20 and it was fine at a sensible drop

thanks for the comments, when i ran 18" on my pug 306 i found that the side wall on the falken 452 tyre gave me more clearance on my arches than any other tyre so i'll will be going for these aswell every little helps.

what drops are you two running?
