Rear Fog Lights

Featured Replies

I know this has come up before about Octy only having offside one on even though the nearside is connected (I think)and you tech guys talking about your Vag com or what ever you have doing it makes the other dim, am I right?. Anyway as I go abroad each year Travelling, solo ,( have caravan) it means the fog light is on the wrong side.Any one had a dealer do it for them?.

Facelift or pre-facelift?

I've had my nearside fog light activated by my dealer on my pre-facelift Octavia so both sides now work on mine.

There are several threads that suggest it is much more difficult on the facelift with some saying it can't be done whilst other claim to have done it...?

It doesn't appear as an option on long coding on the FL

(using 10.6)

I have a October 55 plate Elegance, is this pre or what?, thanks.

It will be a pre-facelift then, so yes your dealer can activate your second rear foglight.

Be warned, some dealers are better than others with some claiming it can't be done when the real problem is that they don't actually know how!

Good luck.
