Is it ture I can not fit a set of HID's to my octavia mk1 as it can mess around with the cars ecu etc??

A friend of mine had a set on his octavia and had no problems, but I have heard from others that they have had things like there wipers going off on there own when they fitted HID Kit.....

Help and advice needed!???.....

I fitted a set to my old octy and they had no issues at all Hid direct I got em , there good and well worh it imo but I love my o/e in the Wrc

no probs at all got em on mine also from HID direct..
