Hi all, this is my first post on here.

Just got a great SKODA OCTAVIA VRS 2006, all perfect except that the front passenger door does not seem to unlock with the keyfob, it opens fine from the inside and every so often, 1 in 100 clicks its seems to open with the remote.

Does anybody have a clue of what it could be.

The systems can be programmed to only open the passenger doors when the unlock button is pressed twice in close succession. I have a Caddy van programmed that way so the rear cargo door and passenger only unlocks if you mean it to by pressing the button twice as described. Hope that helps, it could of course be the mechanism thats faulty. Try standing beside it and pressing the button twice, you should hear the mechanism attempting to unlock if it is a mechanical problem if you hear nothing then chances are the lock mech is faulty.
