Reassurance about our safety in the Yeti

Quite sobering, I hope none of us ever have to experience it.

There is a degree of relief that the Yeti supported it passengers well in the very extreme conditions of the crash test. With todays road conditions, the potential for accidents has increased massively if only by the sheer volume of cars now using the roads.

Previously posted an article regard Skoda's own safety demonstration, where they drove a Yeti into a stationary Superb at 90km/h. Very realistic and sobering test of both cars strength and safety systems.

yet another indication of the forces applied during a front impact

Thanks for sharing that Freshacre, I never doubted the SM anyway, but that just reiterates the HIGH level of build quality and attention to detail pertaining to driver & passenger safety.

(do I hear the sound of dictionaries being opened all over the UK??? :giggle:)
