As soon as I seen my VRS, before even driving it, I knew it would need lowered. My Focus before the VRS was lowered, my Subaru before that was lowered, my Pug 307 before that was lowered etc etc so it had to be done with the VRS!

I came home from work last night to find these waiting for me:

Ordered them from JKM and hopefully they are going to be fitted next Saturday (5th?). Can't wait.

Got a new grille surround + badge from West End Skoda in West Lothian, put the grille surround in Stevie Walkers in Bathgate to get it painted candy white then got the honeycomb grille insert from superskoda. I then had a bit of difficulty getting someone locally to put the VentureShield paint protection film over the grille surround but I eventually managed to track someone down through a friend of a friend. He charged me £25 to do the film stuff and I can't honestly say I am 100% happy with his work but i'll see how it looks when fitted.

Just a wee bit nervous about fitting it myself due to having to cut the bonnet release lever. Scared incase I muck it up!

Erm.... total cost for the grille stuff. Difficult one. I bought the honeycomb bit at the same time as the rear window blend, and got it painted at the same time too. Think the honeycomb bit was around 120 euros, then the grille surround + badge was around £72. Factor in another £30 to get it painted and the total cost would be approx. £220-230'ish. Thats not counting the VentureShield stuff.
