Headlight adjustment Fab Vrs

Featured Replies

After getting her back from some warranty work(inc H'light adjustment!!)

they are now too low!!! Not wanting to snap anything I thought I'd ask!!

Is it anything to do with the two white plastic hex adjustery type things on top of the light assy? :o

Answers on a postcard,and thanks

I take it you have standard headlight not Xenons?

If so then they can be simply adjusted on the white hex/phiilips screws.

Full beam or dips? The white plastic hex adjusters on a xenon car adjust main beam height...

Brilliant thanks guys, standard halogens fitted.

Don't you have the option in the vRS to electrically operate the headlight beam from a roller switch inside the car? I have that in mine, and my lights are halogens.

Yep these are standard, but I think they're designed to be used only when the back of the car is loaded, eg during towing, so you can lower the beam and not dazzle oncoming traffic. Position 0 is the standard unloaded position should be the highest position for the beam and I think Mac is just asking about how to get this a bit higher :D Hope that's clearer than it sounds when I read it back to myself

Perhaps we need a negative setting so we can blind those who feel fog lights are required during a clear-visibility situation :D :D :D
