Time For New CD/Radio

Featured Replies

I am looking to buy a new CD player for the car, I need a mp3 player and if possible not a unit with a large fascia to take out for security, any idea's?. I have a original CD/Radio in so I will need new plastic surrounds, where do I get these from?

Surrounds are about £2.50 from the dealerships.

If you want OE style looking stuff, Becker HU's are very good in that respect. Expensive mind you.

Replaced my original with a Pioneer single CD head unit, which also had a short USB lead!! I had to get the top facia infill strip and a cubby hole shelf (I had the draw under my stereo) both from the Skoda dealer. I also had to get a DIN to Pioneer wire converter harness (you might need this for other makes, just got a Halfords generic one but please disconnect the grey? wire which is used for the skoda diagnostics for the OEM radio as this is live and not for aftermarket radios!! I also cut a hole in the back of the lower cuby hole to bring the USB cable into the cubby hole (blanking grommet used to tidy up) so i now just use a USB stick with all my music on it in either WAV or MP3 !!!
