I bought these from Brimma last weekend and they're wonderful. I have replaced all but 2 of them as it started to rain and I need some of those crappy clips that always break upon removal.

I had to use my old door handles as the vRS LE ones didn't have the apeture for the illuminated door handle LEDs. While I was in there I also added some 3 SMD LED lamps to the door open light as well.

They look much better! I also tried out a 12 LED panel I had kicking around in the W8 light, the LEDs are dimmable as well so I will be buying some more as they are REALLY bright and are actually a substitute for incandescent W5Ws unlike a lot of cheaper ones!

All in all a good day's modding, I have to slip in this photo of it looking all clean and shiny (excuse the junk - we're awaiting removal of rubbish!)

was it difficult to remove the door panels, as my driver door panel feels ill fitted at the top compared to the others, it feels loose when i tap it, was going to remove it and fit some foam tape behind it. my cars only a year old but not sure its an actual fault, otherwise i would take into the dealers.

It's not difficult, but it is quite fiddly and I'd reccomend you had someone just to plug the various connectors (treble tweeter, electric window controls, electric mirror controller, and if you're really posh like myself, an illuminated door handle LED unit, along with the alarm light, door handle cable and door safety light! There are a lot!) while you refit it. There is a how to on here and I shall find it in a second.

It seems the facelifts have a different type of clip too, as the FL door cards (from an LE which had an FL interior, well parts) have white multi use clips with a spade thingy on them, and the pre-FL has single use pale skoda green clips which break upon removal.

How did your originals get like that , you got a bad habit like Simbo( his are worse) I would swop over your dark trim as well Nick. Is it a trick of the light , your original handle looks white. It would be nice to see a photo of illuminated handles

When did a bit of work with door panels got from skoda garage bag of clips - 50c each, because I broke half of the original. New clips are much more softer and working better and also reusable.

I wonder if it is possible or is it a big job to fit these to my FL vRS Octy?
