Hi, The answer to this may already be here, but I`m new and not well versed in how to find things yet. Maybe someone can give me a quick answer. I get a new Fabia S start of March. I now see that it comes without a proper spare wheel. Question - Could I take the good spare and jack from my old Fabia 1 (03) and would both be `fit for purpose` on the new car

Depends on the size of your original spare. The Fabia S comes with 195/55 R15 tyres on a 6Jx15 rim from recollection which is the size of spare used on our Elegance model (but as a spacesaver). The other thing to consider is the age of the tyre fitted to your current car; just replaced the original but partly used spare in my sons 03 Fabia as it had started to perish, think the manufactures and tyre fitters currently advise 6 years for tyre life.
