Is this the turbo that fits the fabia vrs? Is a recon turbo a bad idea? Im not sure I want it im just curious if its the right one as it would be a cheap fix for my car.

ARL is the PD150, so yes this will fit when the housing has been clocked.

Is this clocking thr housing business a turbo person job like turbo dynamics or any michanic?

Never done it myself, but there are guides on the internet on how to do it.

Dead easy, had my turbo recon'd last year by Midland Turbo, when it came back the housing was in the wrong orientation. I rang them up to enquire whether I'd be OK to tweak it without voiding my warranty and what were the torque figures. The bloke said no problem, just loosen the bolts evenly, reposition it then just nip them up by hand in a criss-cross order. No actual torque figure, just try to do them all approx the same!
