Octy2 FL 1.9TDI PD 77KW EDC16 ?

Hi!

I owned previously 2005 O2 1.9TDI PD 77kw. ECU type was EDC16U3 as far as I remember. Half a year ago got 2009 FL O2 with the "same" engine. But the tool what I used for downloading Image file from my previous O2 wan't recognise my current ECU. Is anybody here aware what type of ECU is in use for Facelifter 1.9 Octavia? Just to be sure is my tool is broken or Skoda changed ECU to EDC17 as example.

Sorted. Previously was EDC16U1 with 1Mb flash , current one is EDC16U3x with 2Mb Flash memory.

I do need to change my lovely (but aged) 2010 Fabia 1.6tdi so went looking for a year old 1.5tsi DSG SEL, found a nice one at a local dealer but when looking at the finance side of things, it worked out similar to buy a brand new one (via Carwow prices) due to the Skoda contribution and the lower APR on a PCP. Hi everyone, I am looking for some insight regarding a fueling issue on my Skoda Octavia 3 RS (2.0 TSI, EA888 Gen 3, CHHA engine, 169kW). The car is currently running an APR Stage 2 tune (ECU + TCU). The issue first appeared right after flashing APR Stage 1 at around 74k km, and now at 86k km, it has become more frequent (sometimes 3x a day, sometimes it gives peace for 2 weeks). Hi. I've just had the touchscreen replaced and happy to say everything is all working again with the exception of the clock which is stuck at 12:00. The second hand is still working though. The time on the dashboard behind the steering wheel is working fine and can be adjusted. Can anyone please advise me ho to adjust the clock on the touchscreen when it is in standby mode? Many thanks.

Hello, I activated Smart Link on my swing 3 radio, at Skoda Octavia mk3 MY 2018, so I want to share with everyone how it can be done. DISCLAIMER: You do it at your rensponsability, is not easy to do, and you can mess things out, possible brick you device. Do it only if you have expereince in this kind of activity. Physical tools needed: Tool for removing radio 4 pieces, just google "VAG radio removal tool", cost about 1€. CH341A Mini Programmer, cost about 10€. PC/Laptop Philips screwdriver
