Fuel Filter 1.9TDI PD

How often should you change the fuel filter on the VRS 1.9PD TDI. The service book is very unclear, PD engines all listed as exceptions and also only if diesel doesn't meet a certain spec in area. Is it really worthwhile doing? Doesn't seem to have been ever done, now at 71k miles.

worth doing @ 71k for sure,

They are only about £20 for one from VW

Software updates for my generation Enyaq

Good day to everyone, Help, when oh when will we get an update for our generation of Enyaq. I believe I am on the latest for my generation IV. 3.8 I like my car very much, and being a coupe is very different from the millions of Model Y Tesla that are as common as muck. But this lack of software updates to my model would prevent me or at least make me think twice about another one. Any other members as frustrated as me.

I have a 2014 diesel octavia estate 1.6 blk edition. Lately, and since service my mpg is alot lower than normal. I understand my car is old but recently ive noticed im using more fuel. Ive asked my usual mechanic and hes replied with the expected answer i thought hed suggest which is weather, tyres, speed, fuel prices and that mpg is never ro be trusted. Im not taking fuel prices into consideration as im seeing my fuel being used up more. Mpg today has been 34,on a route i normally use and get

Hi Ive noticed my start stop system isnt working and car showing high power consumption when i switch the start stop system to on. Doing so even when no air con is on etc. Display even said engine needed to be running evening though it was! Im guessing battery is on its way out?

Hi Guys, hope you are all well bit about the car - i purchased a Skoda Octivative mk2 vrs CR 2.0 last September its a 2010 model with 105000 on the clock, recently been serviced before i purchased the car. looks to have full service history. before lock down it would be used most days going to work which is about a 45 min journey each way mostly on duel carriage ways. issue - when i first got the car it would occasionally high idle arou
