CD Changer under passengers seat removed.

Featured Replies

Just removed the cd changer under passengers seat.

Haven't used it once and can't bare the little squeaks I can hear every now and then from it when on bumpy roads.

Also posted this incase some people are thinking of removing their's.

5 x Bolts/screws to undo.

1 x At the front of facia, take that out then you have full access to changer.

2 x Either side screwed into brackets

Unplug harness wires.

Changer will now be free.

Screw seat facia back on.

Job Done.

And now for the most important bit of it all because a lot of you love the weight reduction thing.

It weighs 2 & 1/4 kilo.

Yes I did weigh it. Sad in it.

I was quite shocked how heavy it was, didn't think it would weigh that much. :o

Just tested car now and feels much quicker through the range!!

No I didn't, I'm joking...

Even heavier with 6 CD's in it. Very heavy if they are all Heavy Metal Music
