Looking at painting the wheels on my car due to the amount of brake dust that the pads im using produce!

Just wondered what you guys thought?

I was leaning more towrads gloss black

stick to oem - other options will look cheap

If i ever save up enough cash i'm going satin black, should help hide the dust better lol

Leave them silver on a silver car!

Don't do them Matt, brake dust is a right pain to get off (mine are Matt) do them gloss it'll just wipe off then

As for the colour either black or gunmetal looks good on silver

I fancied black either matt or gloss, but if i did do them matt they would still have a matt clear coat on so the dust would still wipe off.

But like has been said here i dont know if i done them , if theyd look tackey! and cheap!!

The darker you go with the tone, the meaner they look

If you want to hide brake dust, go a for a medium effect

If you want stealth, then 25% darker than oe silver looks cool

Yeah could go with a metallic look, the poll is neck and neck at the mo

black is overdone in my opinion and silver is a little plain which leaves the mean looking anthracite for me !

Leaning more towards anthracite now as black is probaly a bit strong!
