why is it so bad???? is there any pics on here at all?

its just fiddley to get the turbo end on thats all ... kept bloody poppiong off lol

You will have to loosen the metal coolant pipe that runs behind the inlet pipe. It's pretty much opposite the turbo impeller. You'll know it when you see it. Don't take the bolt out completely though - I did, and it took me an hour to get it back in.

Make sure you get the jubilee clip on the turbo straight too. Mine kept sliding off. Doesn't help with silicone being naturally slippery.

As mentioned Job is not hard at all, but is fiddly purely because you can't see very well and you don't have a lot of space. If you are removing the std pipe you will need to remove the allen bolt holding it to the turbo.(not needed) As the silicon one is jubilee clipped on you need to make sure that the pipe is on right to the end on the turbo flange and the jubilee clip is done up good and tight so it does not come off on boost. I positioned mine from above engine and then finnished from underneath the car ensuring clip was tight. I ended up also triming back some of the turbo hose as it was too long and was not making a smooth fit up to the MAF

You can do it without loosening that hose.
