Has anyone used a Brodit phone mount in their Superb?

If so where did you mount (pictures) and did you find it easy to fit? I have one in my Mondeo and want to put one in my Superb as soon as I get it.

If you have any tips on fitting the mount or on how to make the charging wire nice and tidy I'd much appreciate it.

I have one in my Superb II and also used one in my Octy.

My mount is fitted to the left of the steering wheel over the centre right air vent. Fitting the mount is very easy, you simply need to widen the panel gap used a purposemade plastic tool supplied with all mounts.

You then have a choice of application bracket which attaches to the mount. I use mine with my Tom Tom and chose an active bracket which has a coiled cable with cigarette socket. You can however, buy a passive bracket which has no cable. This would need to be used in conjuntion with the cable supplied with the device. Alternatively, you could hard wire a mount.

When you come to sell the vehicle, the mount can be removed without evidence of it having been fitted.

Does anyone know of a good way to hide the cable behind the dash, or anyone that could do that for me?

I have an iPhone so I need it to charge from the mount or I'll be forever looking for a socket in all my meetings.

This is the one I've got, but used it without the swivel bit (and cant put my hands on the Swivel bit at present!) i "stuck" it to a Brodit mount with 3m tape; this made it solid and lower-profile.

£15 inc post would suit me to be honest...
