tinted windows

Featured Replies

hi guys as you there are black windows on the roomster at the back right can you out a bit more lighter shade on the front windows

sumone has told me you can is this right or not pete

Has to be a minimum of permeable light all round, with certain levels of visibility outwards.

Windscreens in particular are vulnerable to police intervention to stop you using vehicle if it fails their light test.

A certain percentage of light can also be under scrutiny with tinted lights.

Recent TV program televised, where lady driver removed the stick-on type of blacking-out foil, rather than have vehicle towed away.

To my understanding (in Finland) you can have as black windows as you want to in the rear doors and rear windows, but in the front door windows and windshield you are not allowed to have any sort of tinting.

in the UK, you can do what you wish to the Glass Behind the driver (ie, B pillar back) put steel over it, and weld it into a van if you like!

The front sides and screen, if tinted from manufacturer (which most modern cars are) can NOT be tinted any more. they must let in 70% light.
