Hi,

Does any know for sure if the hubs and brakes from a 2008 Scirroco 2000cc will fit a '56 Octavia 2 with the fixed caliper mount? Other than a petrol manual I know nothing about the vw. The octavia needs new brakes to cope with long steep hills, sharp bends and heavy loads.

What brakes are you looking to uprate? Both or just the fronts?

Not sure what the setup is on the PD105? 288mm fronts?

I've been told about the possibility of the fronts only. I think the 105 has 288's certainly the caliper bolts direct to the hub and not a carrier, whatever, look silly behind the 17" wheels though! I haven't seen the hub assys, so not sure if they are 312 or what ever. What do you think?
