Dog guard for Fabia II estate

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I put a post in a while back about recommendations for a decent dog guard and boot mat for the Fabia II estate. We're taking delivery of a vRS estate late May/early June and I'm sorted on the mat now but still unsure on the guard.

I currently favour the OEM Skoda guard but I have been advised that it is not a DIY fit, it needs to be fitted by the dealers. This is fine as i'd insist that it was put in the car FOC of labour if I bought it; i'm just concerned it may be difficult to remove on the occasions I dont actually want it in the car.

I've always bought Travall guards up until now which offer great quality at a lower price but it would appear they currently do not make one for the Fabia II estate. I've e-mailed their customer services, they've read my mail but as yet have not had a response.

Does anyone out there have the Skoda guard in the back of their Fabia II estate and can comment on design, ease of removal and whether its good value?

Cheers

Paul
