Washed under arches of car (vrs) on weekend to remove all the winter salt with a pressure washer and when starting the car the engine managment light came on. Car runs OK any ideas?? wont be doing this again but never had any problems in the past.

Does the light reset itself or does it have to go in to dealer, dont have time this week for it to be off the road.

It could be anything maybe some water had got into a connection under the bonnet ?

It will have to be scanned to see what's wrong with it though.

Come to Castle Combe next month (see sig) and I can hook my VCDS to it.

The map sensor is about the nearest connection to the wheel arch. Bit of water Ingres maybe
