I am about to do a full coolant change on my fabi 1.4 8v.

Iv got 3 and a half litres of G12 at the ready, but thought id better run it by you guys first, are there any potential pitfalls/problems i could encounter??

Seeing as you have no replies I will give you my pennies worth:

Got to get the correct mix between coolant and water.

I'm pretty sure you need to make sure there are no air-bubbles in it when you re-fill.

You need to replace the plug?

I suspect you should dispose of the old stuff in an environmentally freindly way.

Try and keep some 'spare' stuff in the car - and monitor the level on a regular basis - when cold? - especially after you have just done the change over.
