Hiya i have had a look around the forum trying to answer my questions:)

I have a VRS with remap, decat stright through exhaust, Induction kit, Forge Splitter dump valve.

I want more BHP tho where do i start? 4-1 manifold may be?

How deep are your pockets and are you prepared to loose the extra you've paid when you come to sell.

Manifolds will give minimal gains and if you want to notice an increase in power then the next step would be the ko4 turbo and internals from a BAM engined car. If you can source them cheaply (2nd hand) its probably worth it for 270ish bhp, beyond that theres alot more that will need upgrading and you have to think if its worth putting all of it into the VRS. A mapped Golf edition 30 seems more appealing to me. :D

I have just spent more the £10000 on mine and still going....i wil see 350 to 400 bhp

A k04 won't give you much before you jump do some research and call some tuners....

no need you can do other things that are better.first you must have a goal you wanna reach,then you need the pockets to match lol.you must have some idea what you want... and how much you can spend.

TBH i wanna spend about £500 i know its not alot but ive done everything i can imo on my car atm with

-remap

-Decat stright through system

- Induction kit

- Forge splitter dump valve

- Super 4 spark plugs

i dont know what else to add now apart from a 4branch or mayb FMIC but i dont fink its worthwhile with hardly any mods :S

The standard exhaust manifold is not a restriction, so it would be pointless to change that atm, i think somebody said on here that it actually flows better than the standard manifold on the k04 based cars.

What map do you have? You wont do alot with £500, maybe some coilovers or better brakes instead? Rear ARB etc etc...

I agree spend it on coil overs or arb for rear.... will transform your car...you don't have near enough £££££ to get more power..

sorry i forgot to mention it has Spax suspension and RARB. im unssure of the map local tunner did it mate

what about a Silcone turbo intake pipe? owt like that be any use?

you will gain nothing by changing turbo hose just looks better and much stronger..

okay no problems thanks for everything sure have cleared a few things up for me anyway:)

Without knowing what map you currently have its hard to comment really.

4 branch manifold on a turbo? Have I missed something :giggle:

Not a lot you can do with £500 maybe stretch a bit more And get a decent fmic then save and go for a ko3s hybrid rather than a ko4 but you'll still need other bits for it to run it's potential :thumbup:

whats diff from the cvurrent Ko3 to a Ko3s hybrid im struggling to find any info on it thanks:)

k03s hybrid has k04 internals, its a good upgrade but not cheap.

maybe you need to do some research on what and how the car works before you take the car to the next power level lol

give it a good service

and then concentrate on handling and stopping this will see bigger gains than an extra few my willy's bigger than yours if you get what i mean :giggle::rofl: :rofl:

On a N/A carb fed or injected car then nothing. But a turbo? You won't get one!

I think before you spend anymore cash you need to do some research and look into things a bit deeper :thumbup:
