Black Headlight Inserts

Featured Replies

I'm abit scared of splitting my xenon projector headlights to paint the centres. Has anyone done this yet on xenons. Anyone have problems with condensation once they've broke the seal?

I believe Tech1e has :)

i wouldnt bother mate, can you imagine the cost if it doesnt work out. or if it looks rubbish, oem xenon units look ace as they are ;)

No reason for it not to work out if you just take your time and think things through (i.e. follow the guide on here). The vRS Estate that Tech1e/Lummox (Ross) built definitely had xenons with painted centres and it looked good iirc.

Exactly what I'm thinking dude

Ive just got a set and it's easy to split. One is currently in pieces.

You can easily seal them back up with. Some black sealant them if your worried

I'll swap you mine with the inserts already done :p
