Is it possible to fit a Columbus to a VRs 55 reg?

If not, can someone recommend a double din unit with GPS etc etc that will fit

No, unfortunately the Columbus (MFD3) only works on more modern Skodas. You could go for the original MFD1, but that's very old technology now or do what I did and go to something like a Kenwood or Pioneer 2-DIN unit. Something lime a Kenwood DNX5260BTwojld be my recommendation.

A how to page to install a Columbus?

It was a how to for a double din it might have been for that. I only glanced it over cos didnt want to take the tray out

I have no problem installing or wiring the head unit, I was just wondering if the Columbus would work as this has a CANBUS connector.
