JOM coilies, rear springs falling out?

Featured Replies

When my rear coilies were fitted last week a noticed the spring and adjuster are separate to the shock! I have taken the rear adjusters out but when I jack the car up now rear springs seem very loose almost as if they would fall out of i went over a bump, is this normal?

keep the rear adjuster in place... only removed the threaded adjuster part, the bottom part (cup) helps hold the springs in place

But the standards didn't have anything on they just sat there

They'll not fall out over a bump, unless your going so fast the whole back of your car lifts up.

I think someone else who was worried put a cable tie round to keep it in place when jacking it up etc.

Exactly the standard springs were longer so have tension to hold them in place
